Magnetic Lifting Beam Synonyms Explanation
What Is Magnetic Lifting Beam?
In my own words, it is a type of magnetic lifting device that combines the magnetic clamping force of magnets with a spreader bar. This magnetic traverse gives the flexibility to maneuver long unwieldy objects with your choice of tooling apparatus.
Synonyms
The following mentioned terms are synonyms of magnetic lifting beam in terms of material handling application.
Lifting Magnet & Magnetic Lifter: on most occasions these two terms are interchangeable, meaning they’re referring to the same lifting tools that utilize magnetic force. They can be the form of a single magnet device, or that certain number of magnets together. Also, they’re the most frequently used expressions of magnetic lifting.
Magnetic Lifting Beam & Magnetic Traverse Lift & Magnetic(Magnet) Truss & Magnetic Lifting Systems
Simply speaking, they refers to a magnetic system that uses magnetic clamping force to lift and handle ferrous loads of different shapes and dimensions, usually consisting of magnets and control cabinet equipped on a spreader bar/beam/traverse/truss, and radio remote control.
This kind of design, allows lift magnets on a beam/bar/traverse/truss, to be attached onto the hook of overhead crane, to perform the transportation of steel parts and materials.
(Herein after, I’ll use magnetic lifting beam as substitute expressions of the above mentioned synonyms.)
Magnetic lifting beam and other similar equipments, are ideal load lift devices for everyone who has to work in a quick and safe way. They offer a lot of practical advantages; anywhere the moving of ferrous loads are necessary, for example, in material storage, transport industry, device construction and for loading and unloading of machinery.
