factors that effect the magnetic force of electro-permanent magnets
Two internal factors affect the magnetic force of the electro-permanent magnets. Read on if you are interested.
The influence of the coercivity of RbFeB on the adsorption force
When other conditions are specific, the adsorption force of the electro-permanent magnets is very much related to the coercivity of the RbFeB. As the coercivity increases, the adsorption force also increases rapidly. The magnetic field generated by the electric current only aids in enhancing the magnetic field of the permanent magnet; the main effect is to change the direction of the magnetic field. Therefore, the higher the coercivity of a permanent magnet, the better within practical limits. RbFeB magnets, commonly known as the king of permanent magnets, are the most extensive permanent magnet material found in terms of coercivity.
The influence of the coercivity of Alnico on the adsorption force
After demagnetization, the magnetic force is about 20N, regardless of how Alnico coercivity changes. At the same time, when a closed magnetic circuit is formed, residual magnetism can cause the electromagnetic clamping tools to fail to release after a power failure, thus affecting regular operation.
We can eliminate the residual magnetization by using DC pulses. This means that when the magnetic pole is de-energized, the voltage is not directly zeroed, but a reverse pulse is added to eliminate the residual magnetism. The energy of the reverse pulse can be determined according to the specific pole structure, to the extent that there is no residual magnetism after the pole has been de-energized.
